4.The Appointments Committee of the Cabinet has
approved the extension of Amitabh Kant’s tenure as the
CEO of NITI Ayog for 2 years beyond June 30, 2019 to
June 30, 2021.

5.The United Nations observe 29 June as International
Day of the Tropics.
